Rebecca Sartain is the Founder and Director of The Link School. The mother of an autistic son, Mrs. Sartain created The Link School out of a need for a place her autistic son could learn in ways that fit his particular needs. She earned her Bachelor and Master’s Degrees from Kennesaw State in Early Education, and has since earned her certification and license as a Certified Behavior Analyst, and is an Autism Spectrum and ADHD Clinical Specialist, and Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist. 

Kyle Reynolds is a science teacher at The Link School. He has been at The Link School since the 2019-2020 school year. He has a Bachelor’s from Kennesaw State University in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s from the University of West Georgia in Special Education. Mr. Reynolds has 11+ years of experience in the special education classroom. He is a master of dad jokes, having 4 sons and has been happily married since 2008. His goal as a teacher is to maximize the potential of each of his students.

Jennifer Tahsler joined The Link School in 2016 and has taught nearly every subject! She earned her Bacherlor’s Degree from Kennesaw State University in Early Childhood Education in 1998, and her
Certificate for Special Education shortly thereafter. Mrs. Tahsler
taught in the Cobb County School system as a special education teacher (4 years), 1st Grade (5 years), and homeschooled her own children through middle school. A married mom of two daughters, Mrs. Tahsler loves spending time with family!

Crystal Vliek is a lifelong learner and teacher who is truly loved by all of her students. Mrs. Vliek is the Lifeskills teacher at The Link School, which means she teaches the students how to shop, cook, clean, sew, make crafts/gifts, take care of their personal space, and interact successfully in society, just to name a few. Mrs. Vliek joined The Link School in 2018, and she has a son and daughter in Georgia. She puts her heart and soul into teaching, is highly organized, and has experience, skill, and knowledge in a vast array of areas that are critical in life.

L’Rae Bell joined The Link School in 2025, teaching History and Social Studies. L’Rae earned her Bachelor’s Degree degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and subsequently her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Georgia. She taught at Jacob’s Ladder for 2 years prior to joining The Link School, and she enjoys playing tennis and throwing pottery when she’s not teaching.
